The Oil city – Takoradi has witnessed a hike in the demand of fresh, quality fruits and vegetables.

As a result, Ropryn Company Limited with support from HortiFresh is working with farmers to address production related challenges as well as create the avenue for consistent supply of quality fruits and vegetables to meet the current demand gap. .

A  HortiFresh-led team field visit to Takoradi included the Deputy Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana -Katja Lasseur and the Country Director of SNV – Anjo van Toorn.  Interactions with Ropryn and their outgrowers indicated the sense of enthusiasm and preparedness for of the farmers to work in the sector.
